Peer Support & Mentoring

Peer Support offers opportunities for individuals with disabilities to work together to share experiences and learn from each other about life and work in the community.

Mentoring is individualized, based on participant goals and may include:

  • Navigating life with a disability
  • Support to prioritize independence
  • Education and/or employment
  • Making informed choices and taking control over life decisions
  • Coping skills
  • Advocacy
  • Building confidence and becoming a role model
